Ireland

If you haven't already guessed it I'm in Ireland with my mom and great aunt. Right now we're in Trim and staying at the High Field House which is next to Trim Castle. The castle is amazing we got to roam the grounds for a bit then we went on a guided tour of the actual castle and turns out Trim Castle was used for all of Brave Heart. So everyone knows that castles are all about defense, but, all about defense means ALL about defense the stairs go up clockwise to benefit the right handed soldier backing up the stairs. There's a field with some junkies (donkeys) in it and I'm going to get to feed them carrots today. When we first got here we were a little early but the lady let us stay and made us tea and biscuits, I mean who serves you stuff at a B and B when its past twelve for free.

An Article

I read an article in Mother Jones (this months issue is all over global warming) and here is the digest (and no the magazine didn't go through my digestive system) any way I'll start with this were not going to stop using fossil fuels by destroying them (okay we might but its unlikely that we'll destroy all of them) the Stone Age didn't end because they used up all the stones (quoted). Fact: enough solar energy falls on Earth to power 100% of the world for one year. Fact: enough wind blows through the Central Plains to power 100% of the USA (there are other places with wind too though). And Geothermal energy can supply a great amount of electricity. Notice that all of those are clean too. Now not all of that can be harnessed but if it is then it will supply the 100% of world I'm sure. Now we just have to tell important people send letters to the government, send chain emails maybe. Another fact for a thought (not really a fact): If you don't use all florescent light bulbs then you really really need to, like seriously if every American home replaced just one light bulb with an ENERGY STAR qualified bulb, we would save enough energy to light more than 3 million homes for a year, more than $600 million in annual energy costs, and prevent greenhouse gases equivalent to the emissions of more than 800,000 cars.(quoted) But it is true so not only would you be doing Mother Nature a favor but you would save a lot of money. hey

I don't know who is already thinking this but planet Earth is being destroyed by most adults and I think it needs to be saved and to inherit a clean planet we have to take it now. Money of course will be a problem but it always is besides as long as everyone has a tree in their front and back yard it should help majorly also make sure to not just recycle but reduce reuse recycle notice how recycle comes last. Anyway I'm not going to yap on with the basics. Oh and I'm doing a science fair project on wind energy so I'll get back to you on that one in a while. Also about people, do you notice how most people tend to revolve around perfect in some way or another. And if you have ideas for making the planet better and possibly getting some money back so that it can be used again hopefully, tell me so I can send it out to everyone
